LRComms moves to new home at Riverside
A New Chapter for LRComms and The Future-Proof Club®
I’m absolutely delighted to share some exciting news with you. LRComms and The Future-Proof Club® now have a new second home, our registered and official business address at Riverside Wellbeing - Centre for Personal & Professional Development in Whaley Bridge.
Since Covid, when I made the decision to close my office, I’ve been using a serviced address. Of course, it’s done the job, but it hasn’t felt like “home.” So, to now have a proper physical space, right on the doorstep in my beautiful village on the edge of the Peak District, honestly feels like such a joy.
If you know me, you’ll know that I believe business is all about people. Yes, we can achieve a lot remotely and online, but nothing replaces the magic of being able to meet face to face. That’s why I’m so proud to join the Riverside hub and create a space where I can welcome clients, partners and members of The Future-Proof Club® in person.
The best of both worlds
One of the things I love most about running my own business is the freedom of a hybrid approach. Most days, you’ll find me up on the hill working from home, with the dogs at my feet and the Peak District views just outside my window. Other days, I’m out visiting my SME clients in the most industrial of settings, factories, workshops and manufacturing plants.
Now, having an official second home at Riverside is just the icing on the cake. It gives me the flexibility to balance that independence with the opportunity to connect in person, in a space that’s welcoming, inspiring and rooted in community.
Why Riverside?
Riverside is more than just a beautiful setting, it’s honestly a hub of warmth, collaboration and connection, led by the brilliant Kerry Fox. Kerry is not only the Director and owner, but also one of life’s genuinely gorgeous humans. To be able to collaborate with her and become part of the Riverside family is something I’m really excited about.
I’ve already been hosting my monthly In-Person Meet Ups for The Future-Proof Club® there since June. And from November, I’ll also be running my quarterly Mastermind Deep Dive Days at Riverside, full-day workshops for small business owners to step away from the day-to-day and work on their business in a supportive, inspiring environment.

As a strategic communications and business consultant, I take an Inside-Out approach to building a successful business and brand. That means starting with clarity around your vision and values, and then building the strategy, messaging and actions that flow from there.
At every stage of business, from start-up through to 60 years plus, there’s always a need for strong leadership and good communication. That’s where I step in, often behind the scenes, supporting leaders to grow in confidence. Because even if you want to build a business in your own way, the truth is you can’t do it alone. Sometimes the biggest difference is simply having someone there to hold your hand, not to do it for you, but to walk alongside you, to listen, challenge or make you accountable.

And starting next Monday, I’ll be at Riverside every Monday afternoon, working behind the scenes on my own business and welcoming clients who prefer to meet face to face.
