5 steps to help your business finish the year on a high
Does anyone else get that "back to school" excited feeling at the beginning of September or is it just me?
I've always loved this time of year, it actually feels like the beginning of a new year and a chance to dust off the cobwebs, leave behind anything that's not working anymore and welcome in more of the good stuff!
It's also the only time of year when I actually think buying yourself a new pencil case and notebook should be mandatory and guilt free! lol.
That's one of the things that I miss about living in France, the supermarket aisles full to bursting with stationery, pens, squared notepads and so much more that you and I have never dreamed of...

1) Get focused on what's really important - just like the beginning of January. Now is a great time to review and reflect on what's working well or not so well and ask yourself 3 simple questions: What am I going to do more of? What am I going to stop doing? What am I going to start doing?
2) Dedicate time for yourself and make sure you're in a good place to be able to show up and enjoy yourself. I honestly don't think there is anything more vital to the success of your business than you and your wellbeing and mental health. Putting your oxygen mask on first really is the only way to guarantee being able to help others and make an impact.
3) Think ahead to Christmas and into 2025 - what can you be doing now to give your business the best head start and get the most out of Christmas and the new year? This might be marketing new products, taking reservations now for January or simply making sure you can take some time off to relax and enjoy some festive family time.
4) Creative Collaborations - explore how you can create win-win opportunities for growth by joining forces and partnering with other businesses, adding value to each of your customers and getting in front of new audiences too.
5) Communication - communicating effectively with people in the right way at the right time is everything. One of the best ways to do this is to step into their shoes, ask yourself how they are feeling, what they need and how you can go above and beyond their expectations. Seeing things from their perspective allows you to create the best experience and build trust.
